A table tennis table is a deceptively complicated piece of equipment: a heavy playing surface, a folding undercarriage, a locking safety system and a set of wheels, all of which have to work together for the table to be safe and true. General flat-pack assemblers see one occasionally. Table Tech works with them all the time.
Over more than 15 years, that has meant hundreds of hours of assembling new tables, diagnosing faults on old ones, fitting replacement parts and rescuing tables that were assembled incorrectly the first time. It has also meant learning the quirks of each manufacturer: how their folding systems differ, which parts wear first and which models share components.

Folding systems
Every brand folds differently, from centre-fold rollaways to two-piece tables. Knowing each system means faults are diagnosed quickly and nothing is forced.
Alignment
A table that looks fine can still play badly. Correct alignment of the two halves makes the difference between a table and a good table.
Safe handling of heavy components
Tabletops and undercarriages are heavy and awkward. Safe installation protects the table, the floor and the people doing the lifting.
Wear diagnosis
Worn wheels, tired frames and slack locking mechanisms have telltale signs. Catching them early keeps a table safe and avoids bigger repairs later.
Model-specific parts
Two parts can look identical and not be interchangeable. Recognising model-specific components avoids wasted orders and wasted visits.
