What Table Tech can do for your table

Assembly, repairs, servicing, parts and moves, for indoor and outdoor table tennis tables in homes, schools, clubs, offices and leisure centres. Every job starts with an honest assessment, because not every table or every fault is worth repairing, and you deserve to know that up front.

New table assembly

A new table tennis table often arrives as a heavy flat-packed kit with instructions that assume two builders who are confident building flat packed furniture. Table Tech assembles new tables properly the first time, ensuring all nuts and bolts are tightened exactly as required. The finished table is then tested through its full folding and locking cycle (if applicable).

Typically includes

  • Full table build (including: frame, undercarriage, wheel assembly and top fitting)
  • Net fitting and final safety checks
  • Full demo of key features and top tips for longevity and table care

Repairs and fault diagnosis

Tables that will not fold, will not lock, sit unevenly or feel unstable usually have a specific mechanical cause. Table Tech diagnoses the fault on site, then explains what a repair involves before the work goes ahead. Not every fault is economical to repair, and honest advice is part of the service: if a table is beyond sensible repair, you will be told.

Typically includes

  • Folding and locking mechanism faults
  • Wobbly, unstable or misaligned tables
  • Damaged or seized wheels and castors
  • Bent or damaged frame components
  • Net and post problems

Servicing and maintenance

Tables in regular use, particularly in schools, clubs and leisure centres, benefit from periodic servicing. A service typically covers the moving parts that wear first: wheels, pivots, locking catches and fixings, along with alignment and stability checks.

Typically includes

  • Checking and tightening fixings
  • Lubricating and adjusting folding mechanisms
  • Wheel and castor inspection
  • Alignment checks
  • Condition report with any recommended follow-up work

Replacement-part fitting

Many table faults come down to a single worn or broken component: a wheel, a locking catch, a net post bracket or a section of the folding mechanism. Table Tech can help identify the exact part you need, advise where to obtain it from the manufacturer or their UK distributor, and fit it once it arrives. If you already have the part, it can usually be fitted subject to inspection and compatibility.

Typically includes

  • Identifying the exact part from photographs and model details
  • Advice on ordering from manufacturers and UK distributors
  • Fitting customer-supplied genuine parts, subject to compatibility
  • Wheels, catches, brackets, nets, posts and mechanism components

Moving, dismantling and reassembly

A full-size table tennis table is heavy, awkward and easily damaged in transit. If a table needs to move house, move rooms or go into storage, Table Tech can dismantle it safely, advise on protecting the components, and rebuild it correctly at the other end so it plays as it did before.

Typically includes

  • Controlled dismantling with fixings kept organised
  • Advice on packing and protecting the tabletop
  • Reassembly and alignment at the new location
  • Post-move folding and locking checks

Safety and stability checks

Folding table tennis tables are heavy pieces of equipment, and a worn locking mechanism or damaged undercarriage can be a genuine hazard, especially where children use the tables. Table Tech checks the areas that matter: locking engagement, frame integrity, wheel condition and overall stability, and reports plainly on anything that needs attention.

Typically includes

  • Locking mechanism engagement and condition
  • Frame and undercarriage inspection
  • Wheel, brake and castor condition
  • Stability assessment
  • Plain-English condition summary for your records

Before you enquire

What to send with your enquiry

A good enquiry usually gets a same-message answer about what the problem is likely to be and what happens next. Include as much of this as you can:

  • Manufacturer (for example Cornilleau, Butterfly, Kettler or Sponeta)
  • Model name or number, if known
  • Approximate age of the table
  • A short description of the problem or the work needed
  • Photographs of the whole table
  • Close-up photographs of the damaged or affected part
  • Your location or postcode
  • Whether you already have the replacement part

Ready when you are

Use the enquiry form, or email everything straight to info@tabletech.co.uk. Photographs of the whole table plus close-ups of the problem are the single most useful thing you can send.
