Finding the right part for your table

Most table faults come down to one worn or broken component, and the right part almost always comes from the manufacturer or their UK distributor. This page collects the official routes for the major brands, with practical advice on identifying exactly what you need.

Identify the table before you order anything

Parts from different models can look almost identical and still be incompatible: a wheel bracket, locking catch or net post from one model will often not fit its near-twin from a different year. Before ordering, pin down:

  • The brand of the table
  • The exact model name, if known
  • Any product code or serial number, usually on a label under the tabletop or on the frame
  • The approximate year of purchase
  • Whether the part is a left-hand or right-hand component, where applicable
  • Photographs of the complete table
  • Close-up photographs of the damaged or missing part

Stuck identifying it?

It's best to send photographs of the whole table, the underside label and the damaged part direct to the manufacturer below and they will help you work out the model and the part you need before you spend anything.

Finding your model number

The table reference or serial number is on a label under the tabletop, usually in one of the upper corners. Enter it into the Cornilleau UK spare-parts search engine to list compatible parts.

Older models

Cornilleau lists parts by model reference. Parts for some older or pre-2015 models may no longer be listed, so check the search engine or ask Cornilleau UK directly.

Cornilleau now supplies spare parts in the UK exclusively through its own website rather than third-party retailers.

Butterfly

Japanese table tennis brand whose UK tables, parts and after-sales service are handled by distributor Tees Sport.

Finding your model number

Butterfly tables usually carry the model name on the frame/table top edge. Tees Sport will ask for the model name and, ideally, a photograph of the part you need.

Older models

Tees Sport holds UK stock of parts for current Butterfly tables. Support for older or discontinued models may be more limited, so ask with your model name and photographs.

Kettler

German brand with a UK operation (Kettler GB). Parts support depends heavily on the age of the table.

Finding your model number

Look for the model name on a label on the frame or undercarriage, and keep your purchase details if you have them. Kettler GB will need the model and photographs to check part availability.

Older models

Kettler has confirmed that tables made up to 2019 are discontinued and spare parts for them are no longer produced. Parts from the newer post-2020 ranges do not fit the older tables. For newer Kettler GB tables, contact Kettler GB to check availability.

Sponeta

Long-established German manufacturer. Parts and technical support are handled by the Sponeta service office in Germany.

Finding your model number

Sponeta prints a service code number on the underside of the playing surface. Quote this code in any parts or technical enquiry; it identifies the exact model and production details.

  • Guide rails for the folding and locking system (marked L and R)
  • Wheels and castors

  • Frame and mechanism components

Older models

Sponeta handles parts enquiries individually using the service code number. Availability for older models varies, so contact the service office with the code and photographs.

Sponeta also manufactures tables that are sold under a number of other brand names, including recently produced Kettler tables sold in the UK. If your table looks identical to a Sponeta model, it is worth contacting Sponeta about parts even if the badge on your table says something else.

Finding your model number

Check the underside of the tabletop and the frame for a label with a model name, product code or serial number, and dig out the manual or original order confirmation if you still have it.

Older models

For brands not listed here, the manufacturer's own website or the retailer that sold the table is the best starting point. If you get stuck, send Table Tech photographs and any codes you can find, and we will help you work out what the table is and what part it needs.
